|Recommended: NoNo — Requiring us to pay you 35 a month for valet trash service every day, but then charging us 50 if the trash can you make us use from the trash service you make us use gets left out a few extra hours past the timetable you’ve decided on is highway robbery. This also doesn’t take into account for people like
me who work the night shift. Apartment companies and landlords are some of the greediest entities in the world and you should be ashamed of yourselves.
Hi Matthew, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you have found our policies surrounding trash pickup to be unsatisfactory. While we understand it can be a little tricky for those with different schedules, the trash policies are in place to help ensure all residents of Southpark Crossing can enjoy a beautiful and clean place to call "home"! In an effort to avoid our residents having to pay fines, we do always send a reminder first, and fines are only ever assessed in the case there have been multiple trash violations. We have now lived here for 3 years and have loved every second The amenities are wonderful and the staff in the office is so prompt and helpful. We love where we live

|Recommended: YesPros Cons Of Apartment Living At South Park Crossing — I can hear the upstairs neighbors as they walk very hard on the floors, but that is to be expected. I'm on the 2nd floor and they are on the 3rd floor. My main dislike is that there is someone around my area that smokes pot daily - clockwork. Any time after 5 00 p.m. you can smell it . It also seeps through the vents in my closet and smells up my clothes. I just deal with it. Come weekend time, it's an all day off and on thing. I've come to get used to it but I find it irritating. Other than that this is a great place to live. Neighbors keep to themselves and are quiet. I like that.

|Recommended: YesIt Is A Nice, Cozy, Quiet Complex — I have lived here for over 3 years, and has been a rather nice stay. The staff is super friendly and the maintenance crew are on top of any issue that may arise.
Finding a parking spot close to your building can be an issue at times, but usually can find other spots down by the dog park.

|Recommended: YesBest Complex I've Ever Lived In — It is super safe, clean and welcoming at an amazing location. The staff was amazing and we would of stayed of our military orders allowed. Even in the height of COVID they were super attentive and helpful. Parking only became an issue at the end, I guess they are no longer a best kept secret.

|Recommended: YesMy Southpark Crossing Pov — Overall, I like the place so far. I have encountered a few issues. The cleanliness of the unit I moved into could have been much better. It appeared that there was a lot of spot cleaning done but the amount of dust on the fan, around door frames, and around outlets was unbearable. I have allergy issues and I’m very sensitive to dust and pet dander. I’ve had a very rough time sleeping the first few nights so I’m taking allergy meds at the moment to help after cleaning up what I was able to find. Another issue I have encountered is the amount of spaces available for parking. It depends on the time of day but I’ve noticed at night parking near my building is non existent. I’ve contacted the office about covered parking but unfortunately at this time there are none near my building. I’ve also noticed that there are piles of dog poop everywhere. I’m not sure if it’s required for people to pick up after their pets or if it’s just not being enforced but depending on the weather conditions, the smell can be unbearable.

|Recommended: YesOk For Short Term, Central Location — Parking spaces is the biggest problem. Family's use 4 to 5 spots on the property so there is no guarantee that a spot for your apartment is available.

|Recommended: YesBest Place For A 1 Bedroom Apartment In South Austin — I've lived here since 2017, going on 5 years now since they were first build. Its the best location and best price for a one bedroom apartment in south Austin. The layout is very nice and never had problems with AC in the summer and maintenance is fast to fix any issues. They have valet trash service, a nice gym 24 7, but free parking can be congested. Overall worth the price for the location and they are pet friendly.

|Recommended: No. — Parking lot not good, too many compact parking, you get car damage bcuz you can’t get in or out your car. Pet owners don’t pick up dog poop, there’s poop everywhere. Portal app don’t work. Office staff acknowledgement is not on point.

|Recommended: YesIt's Been A Great 5 Years — I have been a resident at Southpark Crossing for 4 almost 5 years and I have had a great experience here. The home itself has a great open floor plan and the quality of appliances has been great. I have to note that parking spaces are tiny and if you get home anytime after about 10pm it's pretty tough to find a spot. People don't pick up after their pets so watch where you step, dumpster is often overflowing usually with bulk items people just toss away and the parking lot lighting has been out for months. I am leaving for work and walking my dogs very very early in the morning so sometimes this causes some discomfort. BUT overall, maintenance responds to requests in a timely manner, office staff are polite and responsive to my needs, the community location to Southpark Meadows and quick hop on to Slaughter and or I35 is really nice, my apartment is nice and clean, I rarely hear my neighbors and have had a positive experience for the monthly rate I have been paying. I would not be leaving if I didn't need to move closer to work.
